Karen Mak, – Co Founder and CEO of the award winning international architectural design firm dkstudio architects Inc. Through her extensive knowledge of luxury retail design, her firm was able to attract some of the worlds’ biggest brand names as clients. This year, Dkstudio received the prestigious title of Best International Luxury Design Firm by Corporate Vision Magazine as part of the 2019 Canadian Business Awards. dkstudio is also the proud recipient of the distinguished ACCE Asia Pacific Business Award 2019.
dkstudio also prides itself for its environmental non-profit initiative One Piece A Day where Karen serves on the Board of Directors. One Piece a Day is based around an app and education platform, created to help encourage and inspire everyone on the planet pick up at least one piece of litter a day, and to raise awareness of the impact of single-use plastic on the planet.
Karen is passionate about business, fashion and design. She lives by the motto: “discover your passion and live your life to your fullest potential.”
