Shouyi Ma is the President and CEO of Hanson Canada, a recognized leader in Canada’s international education sector. He earned his MBA from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management. For over a decade, Mr. Ma has guided Hanson’s growth into a world-class private education brand operating Hanson Language School, Hanson High School, and Hanson College of Business, Health and Technology. These institutions provide pathways in language training, secondary and post-secondary studies, which stand as pillars of Hanson’s mission to transform life trajectories through education and creating generational impact in the global community.
Mr. Ma is the co-founder and Chair of the Canadian Council for International Education (CCIE), where he advocates for flexible and inclusive international education policies. He also serves as Vice Chair on the boards of Yee Hong Foundation and the Association of Chinese Canadian Entrepreneurs, underscoring his commitment to advancing education, fostering cross-cultural collaboration, and contributing to community development.
