The Association of Chinese Canadian Entrepreneurs (ACCE) established the Lifetime Achievement Award to recognize outstanding individuals whose business, humanitarian, and/or philanthropic activities have resulted in significant contributions and enhancements to the Chinese Canadian community as well as the community at large. The recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award is selected annually by the Lifetime Achievement Award Selection Committee comprised of the President of ACCE, members of the Advisory Council of ACCE, and other independent advisors.

 

The recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award will be announced during the Chinese Canadian Entrepreneurs Awards Gala.

 

Selection Criteria

The successful nominee will have demonstrated long-term, sustained, and significant contributions to the Chinese Canadian community and the community at large through:

 

1. Vision and Leadership
Has the nominee attained senior level or leadership positions in organizations with which he/she has been involved through the application of their experience, vision, insight and leadership?

2. Business Impact
Has the nominee had an impact on the Chinese Canadian community and the community at large, as demonstrated through verifiable economic success, exceptional management expertise?

3. Humanitarianism
Has the nominee furthered the social or economic well-being of Chinese Canadians, as demonstrated through leadership in philanthropic or in community-based initiatives?

4. Inspiration and Motivation
Has the nominee been an inspiration to others, as demonstrated through a consistently positive and motivating attitude, respect for others, and a visible and long-term record of accomplishments that merit special recognition?
