Mr. Wilbert Lai
Wilbert Lai, MBA, CPA, is a former ACCE president (1999-2002) and co-founded the Chinese Canadian Entrepreneur Awards.
Holding an MBA from the University of Minnesota and a BCom (Hons) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Wilbert sits on advisory councils for ACCE, Omni Television, the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto and SEAS Centre. He was a member of CRA’s Tax Practitioners Consultation Group and PepsiCo Canada’s Asian Advisory Council.
A former financial controller at Xerox Canada, Continental Can and Wonder Bread, he has taught at Centennial College and the University of Toronto.
Wilbert frequently comments on economic and business issues in major media outlets.
