Aboriginal Land Acknowledgement

The ACCE recognizes that our office in the City of Markham is situated upon traditional territories of the Anishinaabe Peoples and of the Haudenosaunee Peoples.

We are committed to Truth and Reconciliation.

We recognize that lands and waters comprising Canada today have been under the stewardship of various indigenous peoples since time immemorial.

We acknowledge the various treaties covering these lands and recognize that other lands are unceded.

We acknowledge that we are settlers and guests on these lands, and it is our shared obligation to respect, honour and sustain these lands.

We encourage all our members to find out whose ancestral lands you live, work and play on.

The Association of Chinese Canadian Entrepreneurs (ACCE), formerly known as “Chinese Canadian Entrepreneur Club”, is a not-for–profit organization incorporated in 1994. In 1995, the Association signed a letter of co-operation with the Centre of Entrepreneurship of Centennial College to foster entrepreneurship training.

Since 1992, ACCE has been organizing various seminars for business people and entrepreneurs. In 1997, in association with Centennial College, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, PricewaterhouseCoopers (formerly known as Coopers & Lybrand) and Ming Pao Daily News, we held our first Chinese Canadian Entrepreneur Awards.
