\nMs. Nirmala Armstrong<\/p>\n

Nirmala Armstrong is a dedicated lawyer, community leader, and advocate with over 30 years of legal experience. Called to the Ontario Bar on June 23, 1995, she opened her own practice the very same day under the name Nirmala Persaud Law Office, later founding Armstrong Law & Associates. Her firm focuses on family, criminal, and estate law, with a strong emphasis on protecting vulnerable individuals from domestic violence. Nirmala has served as Duty Counsel in Ontario\u2019s courts for more than 25 years, while mentoring young lawyers and contributing to legal education. Beyond the courtroom, she was elected as a Regional Councillor for Markham (2014\u20132018), where she championed education, arts, and community development. In 2025, she proudly served as a provincial candidate for the Ontario Liberal Party in Markham\u2013Thornhill. A recipient of three Queen\u2019s Jubilee Medals, she continues to serve guided by resilience, family values, and her belief that \u201cunity is strength.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
