From Foundation to Future: A Message from the President of ACCE<\/b><\/p>\n

I am deeply honored to be elected President of ACCE and grateful for the confidence shown by Board of Directors and the Advisory council at the AGM held on Sept 23, 2025. Following Yvonne Chan, our immediate past president, is no small task\u2014her grace and leadership inspired me during my time as VP of Programs. Fortunately, ACCE\u2019s strong foundation, built over decades and shaped by past presidents, provides a solid platform to build upon.<\/p>\n

I believe leadership is less about commanding authority and more about creating an environment where people want to contribute and grow together. Leading with compassion and humility, I intend to continue reinforcing ACCE\u2019s role as a bridge-builder and champion for Chinese-Canadian entrepreneurship nationwide.<\/p>\n<\/div>

<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

With this reputation comes responsibility. We must deepen our partnerships with government, industry, and other cultural business organizations. Collaboration and bridge-building\u2014rather than dominance\u2014are key to expanding our reach. While we hold a strong position in the Greater Toronto Area and have presence on the West Coast, I am committed to thoughtfully and sustainably growing ACCE\u2019s national footprint, one step at a time. As an tech entrepreneur I believe in pursuing ambitious \u201cmoonshots.\u201d Not every bold idea will succeed, but through learning from failures, we adapt, pivot and try again.<\/p>\n<\/div>

On a timely note, AI and automation are rapidly reshaping business. With a professional background in deep tech\u2014AI and semiconductors\u2014I hope to help guide ACCE members in AI awareness, adoption, and governance to prepare our community responsibly.<\/p><\/p>\n<\/div>

In closing, I reaffirm my commitment to serve with humility and empathy. I thank all volunteers, staff – especially our Executive Director, Karen Ng – board members, and the advisory council, including our past presidents, for their ongoing dedication. I invite every member to help shape our future \u2014 not just for ourselves, but for those who follow.<\/p>\n
