President of Mennie Canada, co-founder of Mennie Global Group, Irwin’s education started in Calgary and he graduated from the University of Calgary with a Master’s of Business Administration.
His earlier career started at Lexus Canada as the Director of Finance. His service in Lexus has encouraged him to start his own business in Canada. In five years, he founded Mennie Canada and also purchased a manufacturer in China. Today, Mennie Canada has the highest market share in Canadian Fibreglass Door Industry. Mennie Group became the second largest fibreglass door supplier in the world. It’s product being sold all over the world including a 25% market share in Great Britain, 50% in France, 40% in Australia and 50% in Korea.
Irwin believes innovation and continuously improving the overall quality is the lifeline of the company.
However, a successful marketing strategy goes a long way for the company and it’s product to be recognized in the market place. He hopes his marketing expertise will help ACCE to be more visible and noticeable in Canada.
