President of
Samtack Inc.
Mr. Royson Ng is
the President of Samtack Inc, is a member of the
international Pine Technology Group - a global
computer company with offices throughout Canada,
the United States, the UK, Netherlands, China,
Hong Kong, Taiwan, and manufacturing facilities
in China ( a member of Pine Technology Holding
Ltd listed in GEM Board Hong Kong ).
Samtack is a
leading distributor of personal computers,
components, peripherals and multimedia products
to thousands of PC resellers, VARS, systems
integrators, national and regional retailers,
and consultants across the globe. The company's
products are widely used in a variety of markets
including government, education, business and
home environments.
Mr. Ng
migrated to Canada in 1991 from Malaysia. He
holds an MBA from the University of Sarasota in
the US. Today , He is responsible for managing
the Group's operations in Canada with revenue
over $130M and has over 100 employees.
In 2005,
Samtack Computer Inc was the recipient of the
Award "ACCE Entrepreneur of the year" and Mr. Ng
very involved with Charitable organization and
is Co-Chair for Chi Heng

Association Development Mr. Alan Kwong, P.Eng., M.Sc., M.B.A.
CEO, PharmEng
International Inc.
Mr. Kwong is
currently the CEO of PharmEng International Inc.
(traded under symbol PII in TSXV)., a contract
manufacturing and international consulting
organization to the pharmaceutical and
biotechnology industries.
The company has
over 300 employees with operations in Canada,
USA, China and Taiwan. Mr. Kwong has worked with
various companies such as Ontario Cancer
Institute, Connaught Laboratories Limited,
Purdue Frederick Inc., NuPharm Inc.(subsidiary
of Apotex), Glaxo Canada Inc., John Brown E&C in
Chicago and Taro Pharmaceuticals USA in New
York.
In 1997,
Mr. Kwong returned to Toronto from New York to
start PharmEng Technology Inc., and since then
has grown into Keata Pharma Inc., PharmEng USA
Inc. and PharmEng International Inc. Mr. Kwong
obtained his B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from
the University of Michigan, and his M.Sc. And
MBA from the University of Toronto.

Mr. Elliot Tse MCPA, RPT, SRP(UK), PRT(Australia),
PDPT(HK)
Registered
Physiotherapist, Times Physiotherapy & Rehab.
Centre
Mr. Elliot Tse
is an experienced Registered Physiotherapist
licensed to practise in Canada, U.K., Australia
and Hong Kong. He is the owner and Clinical
Director of a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation
centre in Richmond Hill. He has been advancing
himself in his profession in many specialties.
He has been the clinical instructor and clinical
examiner for physiotherapy students, the mentor
for fellow physiotherapists, the speaker in
workshops and seminars for health care
professionals. Mr. Elliot Tse has been the
co-author of a book on healthy living. He has
contributed dozens of health-related articles
published in newspapers, magazines and various
publications including health magazine on the
web. He has been the host speaker of the health
program on radio and the guest speakers of TV
programs on health-related topics. He has often
been interviewed by media (T.V., radio, press)
on physiotherapy and health-related current
issues.
Apart from his
professional advancement, Elliot is also very
active in the community. To name a few, Elliot
Tse is the Founding President of the Chinese
Canadian Physiotherapists' Association, the
Immediate Past President (2006-2008) of the
Federation of Chinese Canadian Professionals
(Ontario), the Director of the Carefirst
Foundation, and has been the Director/Executive
of a number of other not-for-profit
organizations. His contribution to the community
has been recognized by the Member of Parliament
(M.P.) for Thornhill, Susan Kadis, through the
Annual Volunteer Award in 2007. Elliot together
with his partner, Alice Tang, Registered
Occupational Therapist, are also the winners of
the Best Community Service Award of the ACCE in
2008 for the outstanding community services
provided by their professional practice, Times
Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre.
Elliot embraces the values
and shares the vision of the ACCE particularly
in promoting social responsibilities in
entrepreneurs. He will bring in his insight and
momentum in his community involvements to the
ACCE with the goals of promoting
entrepreneurship in the Chinese Canadian
community and strengthening the bonding between
the ACCE and its members.

Vice President,
Education and Counseling
Ms. Sandra Tam
Sandra Tam has been with the Town of Markham
since 2001. Currently she holds the
position of Manager of the Markham Small
Business Enterprise Centre, which she
successfully established as one of the leading
resource centres for the small business
community in Markham. The Markham Small
Business Enterprise Centre is a co-venture of
the Town of Markham and the Ontario Ministry of
Economic Development and Trade to provide
support and assistance to potential
entrepreneurs and existing small business
owners. Sandra provides strategic
direction and leadership to all customer-focused
resources, with accountability for operational,
marketing, program delivery, sponsorship and
partnership initiatives.
Before moving to Toronto, Sandra has held
positions in the private sector in Hong Kong in
the areas of marketing, corporate sales and
business development in the Far East. Her
career expertise includes business management,
marketing and consultation. She studied
Business Administration at the Hong Kong Baptist
University.

Mr. Gin Siow
Mr. Gin Siow was first
elected as director of ACCE in 2006. He has been
appointed Vice President of Programs since 2007.
Gin holds an MBA of
University of Dealership Management , NADA
U.S.A..
He is the
owner of Markham Mazda. His Company won the Most
Improved Award in 2002 Chinese Canadian
Entrepreneur Award.

Mr. Edmund Tin
Mr. Edmund Tin
is a Certified General Accountant and an
Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of
Banker. He has extensive experience in all
aspects of financial services including banking
products, loans, investments and insurance etc
as he had been holding senior positions in
various leading international banks such as Bank
of America, Bank of China and Scotia Bank etc.
Presently, he leverages his accounting/taxation
and financial service strengths and specializes
in investment, succession and tax planning for
individuals and corporations as well as business
consultation.
As a
result of his outstanding leadership skill, he
has been elected to be the director of The
Certified General Accountant Association,
Ontario. Nevertheless, he focuses more of his
spare time in ACCE and has organized numerous
seminars and workshops to provide valuable
business information to their members, the
public and students of the University of
Toronto. His mission also includes bridging the
relationship of ACCE with other fellow
associations and non-profit organization like
Chinese Professional Association of Canada (CPAC)
and Centre for Information and Community Service
(CICS) etc through regular networking functions,
trade shows and joint seminars.

Assistant Vice
President, Nominations
Ms. Kitty Iu
After graduating
from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Ms. Kitty
Iu obtained the professional qualifications from
the Chartered Institute of Bankers and Institute
of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in
U.K. She has worked for Banque Nationale de
Paris and Wardley Limited in Hong Kong
specializing in corporate finance. In 1991, she
immigrated to Toronto and continued her
commercial banking career with TD Canada Trust.
Currently, Kitty is the Manager of Business
Development in the TD Bank York Region
Commercial Banking Centre. She work with a
dedicated team of Business Bankers in servicing
mid to large size Commercial customers. Her
focus is to constantly strive for maintaining a
high level of customer service while growing her
company's share of the local marketplace
aggressively. She enjoys involvement in
community giving and have volunteered in
different capabilities in the Chinese community..

Vice President, Programs
Mr. Adrian Cheung
Adrian is a
seasoned banker with extensive banking
experience in the personal, commercial,
corporate, and international banking fields in
Hong Kong and Canada. Presently he is the
Director of Multicultural Markets with BMO Bank
of Montreal assuming the leadership role in term
of designing and executing of multicultural and
new Canadian market strategies in the GTA to
create exceptional customer experience and to
help customers achieve their financial goals.
In addition to
being on the board of ACCE, Adrian also serves
as the director for the Overseas Chinese Music
Society (Ontario) for which he dedicates his
time and effort to help the association in
promoting multiculturalism in the community
through music education and performance
activities.
Adrian completed
his undergraduate education in Hong Kong and
received his M.B.A. degree from the University
of Louisiana. Adrian also holds a Canadian
designation in personal financial planning.

Mr. Kam Ko
President of Kobotic Ltd.
Kam Ko graduated with a mechanical engineering
degree from Concordia University and later
earned his masters in welding from the
University of Toronto.
While working at an auto parts company, Kam saw
a great opportunity to test out one of his idea
of programming a robot to accurately
re-weld a client's auto part. With the success
of this idea and his engineering skills, Kam
founded Kobotic Ltd.
Today, Kobotic Ltd. is a tier supplier for many
major auto companies in North America. They
employ more than 40 employees and continue to
grow and diversify by developing non-automotive
products, such as snowmobile and theatre
seating.

Ms. Phoebe Chow
Phoebe Chow is the Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager at HSBC Bank Canada, Richmond Hill Branch in Ontario. The branch serves a wide variety of personal and business customers.
Through her business network and connections with a diversity of customers from different industries, sectors and international trade finance, Phoebe understands the skill sets required for small business owners. She is pleased to participate in a mission that provides collaboration and encouragement to entrepreneurs through the Association of Chinese Canadian Entrepreneurs.
Ms. Chow joined HSBC Bank Canada in 1995 and has held positions as Senior Account Manager, Private Banking to Assistant Vice President, Sales, Ontario Region. Ms. Chow was recognized by the bank as a recipient of the President’s Award in 2001 and as a participant in International Training Program for Personal Financial Services in London, United Kingdom in 2006.
Ms. Chow has represented HSBC Bank Canada in fund raising and charity events for United Way, Yee Hong Community Wellness Foundation and Mon Sheong Foundation. Phoebe is an active member of the Event Volunteer Group at Mon Sheong Foundation and works with St. Michael’s Hospital in developing a community outreach program.

Ms.Yonnie Chung
Ms. Yonnie Chung
received her Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA)
designation in Hong Kong while working in an
international firm. She obtained her Certified
General Accountant (CGA) and American Institute
of Certified Public Accountant (AICPA)
designations after coming to Canada. She has her
MBA degree from University of Wales. After
working in commercial enterprises and municipal
government for several years, she entered the CA
program and obtained her practicing license in
2005. She starts her own practice thereafter.
Yonnie
joined the board of ACCE as treasurer and
director since 2007. She also volunteers her
time in church services and as auditor of a
Not-for-Profit organization.

Ms. Karen Nguyen
Karen Nguyen is
a marketing manager for Small Businesses at
Rogers Wireless, Canada's largest
telecommunication company. She has extensive
professional experience within a broad range of
the marketing portfolio including but not
limited to new product development, go to market
strategy, pricing strategy, and channel
development.
Karen is
an active member in the community, volunteering
in different capacities within a few not for
profit organizations. This year, she is honoured
to become a Director on the Board of ACCE where
she hopes to use her experience to contribute
towards the Chinese Canadian Entrepreneur
community.

Mr. Dominic Chan
Mr. Dominic Chan is a
professional banker, management & cost
accountant and corporate secretary. He has over
40 years of experience in both retail and
commercial banking services. He is currently a
consultant in banking services advising clients
on how to deal with their bankers as well as how
to seek loan facilities from banks.

Mr. Gordon Chan
President of
Canada Computers
Gordon started selling floppy discs at the
campus of Queen's University while he was a
student there. From selling floppies, he was
able to purchase a house and began selling
printers. Immediately his business began to
flourish and soon after in 1992, he opened his
first Canada Computer store in Kingston.
The privately held company
currently operates more than 16 locations across
Ontario with over 100 dedicated employees.
Gordon's vision is to keep growing the company
by adding new stores throughout Ontario but with
his eyes firmly focused on maintaining a solid
bottom line.

Mr. Alan Hamm
Alan attended
Sir George Williams University in Montreal where
he was president of the Science Students
Association of 5000 members. His business
experience includes retail, transportation,
logistics, import / export, marketing, national
and international sales and brand management.
Alan brings over
40 years of business ownership experience and
his extensive background as an entrepreneur,
business owner and networker gives him valuable
insight into the inner workings of small and
medium sized business. He may be best described
as a networker and connector who built his own
businesses and also assisted others to do the
same through his large spheres of influence.
Alan gives back
to the community as a VP & Director of the ACCE
( Association Of Chinese Canadian Entrepreneurs
) and through past board memberships of YRAP (
York Region Abuse Program) and The York Region
Alzheimer's' Society and many others. He remains
active in all The CBA's ( Chinese Business
Associations ) in the GTA and is a past Chapter
President of BNI ( Business Networking
International ).
He is always
identifying new market opportunities and
building new strategic partnerships especially
with Chinese businessmen and women in Canada and
China. His marketing company works with many
S.E. Chinese businesses assisting them to
connect with and understand & approach the
Canadian marketplace. Alan is also building a
"China" team here and in China with a 53 year
old company bringing business opportunities
through natural nutrition and environmental
cleaning solutions.
Alan can usually be found
assisting people financially with solutions for
residential and commercial mortgages and
creative business financing, as well as creating
growth areas for ACCE.

Ms. Joanna Lo BA(ACS), CGA, ACCA, CA
Ms. Joanna Lo
was first elected as director of ACCE in 2000,
served as Treasurer from 2001 to 2002, VP,
Internal Affairs from 2003 to 2004, VP,
Association Development from 2005 to 2006,
President from 2007 to 2008.
Joanna Lo is a
senior manager in Assurance and Advisory
department in PCS with Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Joanna Lo received her BA (Administrative and
Commercial Studies) in the stream of Financial
and Economic Studies from University of Western
Ontario in 1999 and in the same year she
qualified as Certified General Accountant (CGA).
Later in 2002, she qualified as Chartered
Certified Accountant (ACCA) of United Kingdom
and became Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2006.
Joanna
focuses on small and medium size clients
including investment companies, service
industries, rental operations, real estates,
wholesales, manufacturing and construction
companies, assisting them in start-ups, business
management and tax planning..

Mr. Fred Lai
Mr. Fred Lai is
the founder of Amazing Custom Fabricators Inc.
With background in Mechanical Engineering, he
gained extensive knowledge in manufacturing of
precise sheet metal components utilizing
state-0f-the-art equipment & machinery.
His company won
the Best Start Up Award in 2000 Chinese Canadian
Entrepreneur Award. Since then, Amazing Custom
Fabricators Inc. has grown 100%.
Fred,
with his Christian beliefs, also believes in
service to the community. He joined the board of
ACCE in 2002. Before taking up presidency of the
association in 2004, he was appointed Vice
President of Association Development and also
the project manager of the annual Business
Forum. He has been Director and Treasurer for
Gospel Communication Center of Canada from 1994
till 1996 and is now the advisory committee
members.

Mr. Wilbert Lai MBA, CMA
Wilbert Lai has
a B.Com (Hon) degree from the Chinese University
of Hong Kong and an MBA degree from the
University of Minnesota, U.S.A. He is also a
Certified Management Accountant and a member of
the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants.
Wilbert has an accounting and consulting
practice in Toronto.
He worked for
Union Carbide in Hong Kong before joining
Imperial Oil in Canada in 1974. Subsequently, he
held various controllership positions with
Wonder Bread (General Bakeries), Continental Can
Canada and Xerox Canada. At Xerox, he was
financial controller for the manufacturing
operations in Mexico, Brazil and Canada. He has
taught at the Centre of Entrepreneurship at
Centennial College and is an instructor at the
School of Continuing Studies of the University
of Toronto..
Since
2000, he has been a member of the Advisory
Committee of Enterprise Toronto of the City of
Toronto and was a member of the Tax
Practitioners Consultation Group with Canada
Revenue Agency from 2001 to 2005. He is a
founding member of the Asian Advisory Council of
PepsiCo Canada created in 2006. Wilbert served
as President of ACCE from 1998-2002 and
co-founded the Chinese Canadian Entrepreneur
Awards in 1997. He has served on the board of
Community Alliance for York Region Education (CAYRE)
and has been an Advisor of SEAS Community Centre
since 2002. He is also a Vice President of the
Chinese Professionals Association of Canada (CPAC)
and its Education Foundation.

Mr. Andy Yap has
been a member of ACCE since 1998. He served as
President from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, he
was the treasurer from 1999 to 2000 and
Vice-President of Association Development in
2001.
Andy is a
Chartered Accountant and a tax partner with
Deloitte & Touche LLP. Andy's professional
experience includes providing tax advice and
planning to entrepreneurs. Andy has contributed
to various publications, speaks frequently on
tax related topics and appears occasionally as a
guest on Business News Network's "Talking Tax"
program..
Andy's
other community contributions include serving as
a member of the Finance Committee for the Centre
of Addiction and Mental Health from 2004 to
2007, served on the organizing committee of the
2004 United Way Blossom Ball, and currently
volunteers his time in minor hockey.

Mr. Jeffrey K.F. Shek
Jeffrey holds a Bachelor of
Law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School of York
University.
He currently practices at
his own sole practitioner law firm, which was
established in 2003. His area of practice
includes real estate law, corporate and
commercial transactions, civil litigation,
mortgage enforcement, wills and estate, family
law, and dispute resolution.
